This policy explains what Aztok ("we," "us") does with information when you use our website and video download service.
Aztok operates this website and the video download service described in it. For any privacy question or request, contact admin@aztok.app.
You do not need an account. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, postal address, or payment details, and we do not have them.
When you paste a TikTok link, we process it to locate and retrieve the video file. The link identifies a specific video and the account that posted it. We keep this in our server logs for ten minutes and then delete it.
When you visit the site we receive your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, referring page, the pages you view, and timestamps. Your IP address is personal information under several privacy laws, and we treat it that way. We keep these logs for ten minutes.
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and Google AdSense to show advertising. Both set cookies and similar identifiers in your browser, and both may read them across other sites you visit. Neither is loaded until you allow it. When you first visit, a banner asks you to accept or reject analytics and advertising cookies, and you can accept or reject everything with a single click, or choose the two categories separately. Until you accept, those scripts are never requested and those cookies are never set. We also pass your choice to Google as a Consent Mode v2 signal.
We store your choice in your browser's local storage so we do not have to ask on every visit. You can change or withdraw it at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page, which takes the same single click as giving it. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on, and control ad personalisation through Google's Ads Settings. Refusing or withdrawing does not stop the download service from working.
We process your IP address and log data to operate the site, detect abuse, and keep the service secure. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a functioning and secure service (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
We process submitted links to perform the download you requested. Our legal basis is performance of a contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b)).
We load Google Analytics and Google AdSense, and let Google set and read cookies on your device, only where you have given consent through our cookie banner. Our legal basis for that processing, and for the storage and access on your device, is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer; withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place. We may also process data to comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
We rely on service providers to run the site, including hosting and content delivery, Google Analytics for usage measurement, and Google AdSense for advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money.
We share limited identifiers and browsing data with Google for advertising purposes. Under California law this counts as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and you can opt out by emailing admin@aztok.app.
We may disclose information if legally required, or to investigate abuse of the service.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent at any time, and opt out of targeted advertising or sale. To exercise any of these, email admin@aztok.app. We will not treat you differently for exercising them.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
Because we do not hold account details, we may need additional information to match a request to our records, and in some cases we may be unable to identify your data at all.
Our service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at admin@aztok.app and we will delete it.
We use technical and organisational measures intended to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or loss, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the effective date. Material changes will be flagged on the site before they take effect.
